Literacy and Adult Learning

The Council for Lifelong Learning is a leader in providing literacy and adult learning programs and services as well as personal opportunities for all adults and families.

Our Mission

The Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning supports opportunities for individuals to continue their lifelong learning. We provide adults a pathway to lifelong learning through active leadership, programming and granting funds that are responsive to the community.

What We Do

The Council for Lifelong Learning

We offer literacy and adult learning programs and services for all adults and families.

The Council is supported by:
Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie, City of Grande Prairie, Grande Prairie Public School District.

Our Programming

Basic Life Skills include legal knowledge, literacy, English as an additional language

Family Literacy featuring developing skills through literacy activities in our parent and child classes

Employability Enhancement contains GED Exam Prep, Computer Learning, English as an additional language and The Reading Network

Acountability

We believe in fulfilling our mandate, and being accountable to our learners.
